Depends on dose: Local anesthetic toxicity depends on the dose of anesthetic given and the duration of time over which it is administered. If your surgeon is mindful of the toxic doses, the likelihood of toxicity is low.

Unlikely: To get anesthesia toxicity from local anesthetics a very large amount of the medications would have to be injected. This is very unlikely with the small area of surgery involved.

No: Should not be a problem local anesthetics have come a long way and with the addition of Epinephrine the numbness will last the whole surgery. You will be pleased.
