Coincidence?: You didn't mention why you were prescribed the z-pak. If you're taking the antibiotic for a sore throat, the clogged dry feeling might be a result of the infection. If you're taking the antibiotic for some other reason, it's more likely that you're describing a coincidental symptom. Difficulty swallowing or breathing and/or oral ulcers needs to be evaluated emergently.
