A member asked:

What is the highest dose of mirapex (pramipexole) you can take for rls?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

VARIABLE: If you are currently taking Mirapex for rls, and it is not working well, success will not be achieved by continuing to push the dose upwards, as this is more likely to increase side effects, such as nausea, postural hypotension, drowsiness, and even impulse disorder. Talk with your doctor about using the newer Neupro (rotigotine) patch, which could be effective for 24 hrs and perhaps fewer side effects.
