Which medicine is generally considered best for rls, pramipexole or ropinirole ? i understand both are of same class of medication but what makes doctor choose one over the other?

It is just doctor's choice rather than patient's choice. If one medication causes too much side effect, you can try the other. Or depending on your terrain, one has better effect than the other.
