Boil : It could be a "boil" or an inflamed cyst. Apply warm compresses multiple times daily and avoid exercise while you have it. Friction and heat can cause these to flare up. If very painful see md for antibiotics to bring down the swelling. Boils are infections but in this area they are not usually from an infection but rather just from inflammation.

Maybe: If it is not painful or tender, probably not a boil. If it is very small and firm in the top of vaginal opening, it could be a mucous gland cyst. Boils are small abscesses of the skin get rapidly worse to a point of rupturing or needing surgically opened. So it is important to note how long it has been there and if it has changed. If it has been there a while and not painful, get it checked!
