Poss Cause: Sharp pain while chewing could be indicative a tooth fracture. If you chew on ice blocks, hard candy or nuts you are prone to it. Try to see if you catch yourself clenching your teeth. That could also be a cause. A high bite could be a cause. If you recently had dental work done, have your dentist cheeking your bite. Wisdom teeth can also put pressure on those while you chew.

Here are 4 : Broken filling - could be a simple fix but don't wait cracked tooth - not good but also not so likely at your age bruised ligament around tooth from biting on something hard like a small nut, bird shot, or bone. Will heal rapidly without treatment sinusitis - occasionally, sinuses become inflamed from viral or bacterial infection, or allergies. So much so the upper molars hurt.

Many possibilities: It could be internal tooth fractures, broken fillings, soreness from bruxism, or sinusitis just to mention a few possibilities. Why have us guess? I strongly recommend that you see your own dentist to clinically examine your teeth, take an x-ray or two and determine the cause of your discomfort along with suggesting appropriate treatment, if necessary.
