Yes: It is abnormal to bleed after sex in the abscence of trauma . Your gyne may do a full pelvic exam as part of your initial evaluation.

Check this out: Normally, you should not bleed after sex. There may be something in the vagina though that gets irritated during intercourse. Thus, it is important to get that checked up to have peace of mind.
