Fasting: If you are generally healthy fasting from sunrise to sunset will not harm you. If you have an illness you are not required to fast. Great foods are high in protein with balanced carbohydrates, and moderate or minimal fats. Recommendations: salmon, peanut butter, tofu, green leafy vegetables, tomatoes, potatoes (in moderation), flax seed oil, olive oil, hard boiled eggs (2 per day). Water.
