Cough: Some people have irritation in their throat from their inhaler and can cough immediately following its use. If you are using the advair diskus, (salmeterol and fluticasone) it is a more common problem as it is a powder inhaler. I think you need to have your doctor review your treatment but you should be fine on the long run with it, and rinse your mouth after you use it to avoid oral thrush.
