You probably have symptom of post nasal drainage from chronic rhinosinusitis. If symptom persists you should see an ENT (Ear Nose Throat) doctor. It is good that you have stopped vaping.

Chronic cough with mucus production should be evaluated. An infection of the sinuses or the lungs may cause sputum, and a TB test is recommended. Rinsing nasal passages with saline is often effective in reducing post nasal drip. Monitor temperature and watch for shortness of breath. Continue to avoid smoke exposure and please follow up with your PCP. A virtual appointment with HT is available.
