When should you be concerned about petichiae spots and random bruising? what aids assessment of causes?

Bruising: If there is no explanation for them and they are appearing in spots that aren't really at risk for bruising (abdomen for example). Also if there are a lot of them. Best evaluation is to start with your doctor and blood work.
