A member asked:

What does it mean when a female has sharp cramps on her time of the month but then they stop but a brownish grey ball came out?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly normal: Periods are associated with cramping pain normally. However, cramps are typical in the first day or two of the period but the bleeding normally continues a few days after the cramps are over. Some may have more clots coming out than others. If the brown grey ball is the only concern but everything else is normal, i would not necessarily worry.
