Can a ct scan miss a lump in my neck it said that it was unremarkable but i feel a hard lump and it is causing nerve pain can is be a bone spur?

Front or back?: Is the lump in front or in the back of the neck (cervical spine region)? Its assumed the back since you mentioned bone spur. In cases where a lump can be felt on exam, but not noted on imaging study, its best for your dr. To confirm it by looking at the images or by calling the radiologist. You may need contrast enhanced ct to see the lump. Mri can answer spur, nerve & lump all in one test. Best!
