Depression/thyroid?: Motivation improves once endorphins are released from exercise, so taking that first step might get u on your way. If serious motivation/energy lapses, then check thyroid, hemoglobin, blood sugar levels. Rule out sleep apnea (suspect if history of snoring or daytime somnolence).
