If i take meds for adhd will the effects be permanant?

Which ones?: What effects are you referring to, the benefits or the side effects of the medications? Adhd medications are helpful in addressing symptoms of the disorder like inattention, disorganization, impulsivity and hyperactivity to name a few. Treatment outcome may depend on response to medication and use of psychosocial interventions.

No: Not just the stimulant or non-stimulant class of meds, but all psychotropic medications do not have permanent positive effects, nor do they result in a cure. If you stop them you will likely have a recurrence of symptoms.
