ADHD Meds: If you are doing much focused work and its slow relaxing day at home no intense needs you can skip the adhd med most of teh kids as well as adults do take drug holidays that way these are diff then mood meds that have to be taken consistently. Discuss with your doc your days schedule and plan that way there are no withdrawl issues.

Possibly: Check with your physician. Many take it week-day, work-day or study days only. May or may not be applicable for you.

Be Careful: Attention and concentration are not only important when performing work related tasks or studying for exams. We need adequate attention to ensure we meet our personal needs, to ensure that we can enjoy our leisure time, and most importantly to maintain good interpersonal relationships. So before you take a "drug holiday" consider what you may be sacrificing by giving up your full attention.

You need attention : There are lots of different studies out there about the impact of not taking your meds if you have add, but i'll cite just one of them. Drivers who have add have the exact same accident rate as the general population. However, drivers with add off their meds have 5 times the accident rate! so it's the little things that are just as important day to day that you need to be at your best with.
