Planning : One must weight the risk of staying on (loss of authenticity) vs. Off (relapse risk) suboxone. Tapering is an important element. Also need a plan and a supportive team. Educate yourself about the biopsychosocial model, and add spirituality in there. In my experience, individuals who have been able to bring these facets into harmony are the ones who have succeed. I have not found 1: We have different strategies to help someone come off Suboxone but there will be some difficulty and discomfort. Some would argue that ultra-rapid detox under anesthesia is easy and painless but it is expensive, dangerous and not advised. Ask your md about this important matter. He/she will tell you ways we can help you feel less pain /discomfort. Stay strong.
