Soon: Assuming your dose of Suboxone is tapered accordingly most feel relief in 2 to 3 days. A bigger problem is the anxiety, and other behaviors that co-arise with dependency which need to be addressed. Suboxone will manage the physical component , the psychiatric component will be a work in progress.

DO NOT GIVE UP!!!: Typically if you have done the proper withdrawal from the previous opiates and the Suboxone dosage is correct the relief ought to be fairly rapid. So the issue is were you in opiate withdrawal already as is required and is the dose right. Speak with your physician. Hang in there because it really does work and can help you turn your life around!

Unsure: It depends on the dose and type of opiate you were abusing. The Suboxone dose may not be high enough and may need increasing. Of course, you should not make any dose changes on your own, rather, you should talk to your physician regarding this matter. It's quite common for folks to not keep it under their tongue long enough, so they don't absorb all of the medication. I suggest 20 minutes.
