Without professional: Help? Try reading a cognitive behavioral therapy book like the "feeling good book" by david burns. Work to get daily exercise and 8 hours of sleep per night. Nutrition is very important to your well being. Avoiding or moderating alcohol and no use of nicotine are important. Don't isolate - spend time with others. Consider yoga, acupuncture, tai chi & just spending time with mother nature.

Strategies: Exercise and time away from screens, connecting with healthy and kind people, limiting work stress and relationship dramas. All these are natural ways to feel less depressed.

No help at all?: I think you wouldn't be consulting on this site if you didn't need help. It is your choice whether or not to accept help. But working through depression is much easier with help.
