Yes: Most brain aneurysms take years to develop. The ones which grow more rapidly are related to injury (traumatic aneurysms) or infections (mycotic aneurysms). Sometimes an aneurysm is not seen at first - and it pops up on a later scan. This does not mean it developed over night, but it escaped visualization initially. Several reasons for that, discuss with your neurosurgeon.
