Dr. Tracy Berg answered

Specializes in General Surgery

Depends: The velocity and caliber of the gun shot as well as the entrance/exit sites and the tract of bullet between, are some of the determining factors. There are concerns about your joint, blood vessels and lung. Okay to check in with minor er or your doc about this wound and a chest x-ray. Be well.
