See your doctor: Wound healing is very variable, depending on a person's overall health, the extent and mechanism of injury, life style, level of activity and other factors. That said, "grazing the bone" is more than a simple soft tissue injury. I assume you've had Xrays, if you know the bone was affected? Elevating the leg and avoiding weight-bearing may help, and your MD may need to prescribe antibiotics.

Risk osteomyelitis: The orthopedists at my Trauma Center would open the wound and wash it out and put you on IV antibiotics. You run the risk of deep bone infection since the bullet goes through contaminated clothes and skin Hope you got a tetanus shot
