Ointment: A small amount of antibiotic ointment can help. Hydrocortisone can too. Saline irrigation of the nose can help the allergies quickly and cheaply. Other over the counter meds can help too: loratadine, cetirizine, fexofenadine (without sleepiness). Otherwise, see your doc.

Try antihistamine: Try some otc antihistamine such as Allegra or zyrtec. If it still doesn't help , see your doctor re. A nasal spray which will often solve your problem. If nothing works, then consult an allergist.
