A member asked:

What can i do to to make braces hurt less?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes!: Braces discomfort can be controlled very well with Ibuprofen products (advil). Taken 2-4 at a time, very effective. You were given wax to place on any braces that may rub your cheeks to prevent a sore and promote a callus to form. One last thing: acceledent is a new adjunct that reduces discomfort and speeds up treatment. Ask your orthodontist about it.
