Low WBC count: 5 types of leukocytes=white blood cells: classified by presence/absence of granules in cell. Agranulocytes: lymphocytes & monocytes. Granulocytes: neutrophils, basophils, & eosinophils. Nl blood values: 5k-10k leukocytes/cubic millimeter. Leukocytes destroy bacteria, fungi, & viruses; detoxifiers of toxic proteins that may result from allergic reactions & cellular injury; & immune system cells.

Low WBC: Refers to a low level of white blood cells in your total blood count. Have your doctors found the cause of the low level of lymphocytes?

Leukopenia: This just means you have low white cell counts. This predisposes you to getting infections and white cells are an integral part of your immune system and fighting infection. Mouth sores could be directly related. If they are aphthous ulcers, they could be resulting from the stress you body is constantly under trying to deal with the daily load of infections we all encounter. Keep investigating.
