Term placenta: Your ultrasound describes a term placenta in an appropriate location. Definitely kick counts are an important part of monitoring the pregnancy in the last few weeks. If there was a reason your doctor was worried and ordered the ultrasound, be sure to discuss that with your doctor.

Normal findings: The placenta has an appearance that is appropriate for a pregnancy approaching term. The location is good since it will not be in the way of a vaginal (natural) birth. Good luck.
