A member asked:

With a t-score of minus 3.5 in spine is there any hope for recovery, and to what extent, and what is the normal care for someone in my position?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Needs evaluation: A T-score of -3.5 in your age group is very low. You should have evaluation to see if there is a secondary cause for bone loss (other than menopause). You will need treatment with calcium and vitamin d, and likely should be on an antiresorptive medication to prevent further bone loss.
