How are chronic severe headaches related to tbi treated?

Depends: If you have frequent or episodic severe headaches, we often prescribe anticonvulsant medications to help lessen severity and frequency or prevent the headaches. Magnesium can be helpful for some as well, used in doses of 400-600 mg per day, and i prefer magnesium glycinate.

Propranolol: Often difficult to treat. Make sure to get a ct scan and neurosurgery evaluation to check for a delayed hemorrhage, hydrocephalus etc. I have had some success using Propranolol for these especially in young patients. Check with your neurosurgeon.
