A member asked:

2 years w tbi, symptoms of headaches, fatigue, slow visual working memory, processing. back to work, feel 100%. but what to watch out for now?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Long term sequelae: Tbi (traumatic brain injury) may have sequelae several years after the injury. The greater the severity of the injury, the more likely the sequelae. Post-traumatic hydrocephalus or normal pressure hydrocephalus may occur years after the injury. Chronic fluid collections outside of the brain (subdural hematomas) may also occur. Further work-up by your physician may include additional studies (mri).
