Hard to tell: A tbi history 17 years earlier may have delayed neurologic sequelae. Some of these include the development of hydrocephalus (usually normal pressure). Your family doctor may be able to do a better evaluation as they will know about other medical problems that may be contributing. There are new MRI paradigms that provide structural and functional data.
