Hello, i have had a red spot on my neck for some time now, at one point it bled but is usually just flat. it will not go away. what could it be?

Hemangioma: Hemangiomas or "cherry tumors" are benign extra blood vessels that grow in the skin and on internal organs. In general these are left alone but if they grow too big then they can be surgically removed. They are not cancer.
