No.: I have a few patients with cold urticaria but none with the familial kind.

Rare: One in 5000 people have cold urticaria, and half of them have familial cold urticaria. So familial cold urticaria occurs in about one in 10, 000 people. Many of these patients also have atopy (an allergic tendency) and other forms of urticaria as well.
