A member asked:

Where can we get our mineral intake that the body needs?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

In a varied diet: All of the trace minerals your body needs can be found in foods you eat. If you have to follow ay special type of diet -say you are lactose intolerant and don't consume much dairy- then you may need a supplement or seek out alternative foods that contain those minerals. If you are a picky eater or because of other situations your diet is restricted, then a multivitamin contains the minerals needed.
