Sugar: A large intake of sugar is very unhealthy for 2 important reasons. One is the stress on your pancreas which has to release enough insulin to keep your blood sugar within normal limits. Another reason is the spike in your blood sugar which releases substances which cause inflammatory reactions in your body's tissues. There is nothing you can due to block these stresses in your body. Avoid sugars.
