Back pain & pregnant: Aches and pain of pregnancy is very common. An ultrasound would show if your pregnancy is in the uterus and not an ectopic, meaning outside the uterus. It would also show if you have an ovarian cyst.. Both of these can cause pain and could be serious. If ultrasound is fine, it could be the changes in your pelvis associated with the growth of the pregnancy. Check with your ob.
