Be concerned: Blood in the mouth is not normal. You probably have gingivitis which is bleeding and swollen gums. You may have periodontitis which is bone loss. You should see a dentist, preferably a periodontist. This may be able to be treated with a deep cleaning also called scaling and root planing.
