<strong>Stanley D. Halpern, D.D.S.</strong> September 7,

<strong> Dr. Halpern earned his B.S. in
Biology in 1975 from Emory
University and Doctor of
Dental Surgery in 1979 from Emory University School of Dentistry. He completed
a General Practice Residency at the University
of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital
in 1980. He then obtained his certificate in Periodontics at Emory University
School of Dentistry in 1982. Dr. Halpern is a member of the American Academy of
Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental
Association, the Northwestern District Dental Society, the Georgia Academy of
Dental Practice, the Georgia Society of Periodontists, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.
He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard
Academy, and the North Metro Dental Study Club. He is an Honorable Fellow of
the GDA and is actively involved in the Northwestern District Dental Society
and the Georgia Dental Association. </strong> He
has served the district as vice president, secretary, and chairman of the
public relations and membership committees. He was most recently the chairman
of the district delegation to the GDA House of Delegates. Presently, Dr. Halpern
is the president of the Northwestern District of the GDA. He is a visiting Clinical
Instructor of Periodontics at Georgia Health Sciences University Dental School.
<strong>Dr. Halpern has practiced in the Marietta/Woodstock area for over 25
years. Dr. Halpern’s interests include dental implants, bone and gingival
tissue augmentation, and cosmetic periodontal procedures. Outside of the
office, Dr. Halpern enjoys playing golf, traveling, watching sports, and
spending time with his wife and two daughters</strong>.<strong> </strong>
