A member asked:

My blood glucose drops in the first 15 minutes after eating and then starts to rise before dropping significantly again 90 minutes later.why?(non diabetic)

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal: Your body senses the carbohydrate load, and releases insulin. The Insulin pushes the sugar into your cells, so there may be a time when the body hasn't absorbed the sugar yet, and the sugar already in your system has been pushed into cells. Once you start absorbing the sugar from your gut, your blood glucose stabilizes.
