Maybe : Your belt is too tight, maybe you carry your cell phone attached to your belt on that side, maybe pinched nerve from your back.. Consider losing weight if overweight. If recent surgery, let the doctor know. Are you a policewoman or a carpenter? Those with heavy tool belts get this.

?meralgia: Pinching of lat femoral cutaneous nerve at hip is not uncommon and causes meralgia paresthetica, which might be made worse by tight objects about the waist. Although most commonly this is a mechanical issue, on rare occasions, there may be an initial presentation of a systemic disorder such as diabetes. Contact your physician.
