A member asked:

Are there some genetic reasons i get eye swelling off and on?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Occasionally: Your eye swelling may be from an allergic phenomenon of which antioedema is the most common from a genetic standpoint. There are other causes with genetic underpinnings but eye swelling is sort of a side effect of things like heart failure, kidney disease and other alterations of overall bodily fluid imbalance.
