Swelling and pain in: an area of the scalp,I would be concerned about an infection.Have someone inspect the scalp very carefully,in really bright light,to see if there is any redness or a wound .It could be a very small place like an infected hair follicle or pimple or scab.You may require a course of antibiotics.Its time to c ur doc,since it's been weeks of this.Good luck☺️
