A member asked:

What to ask my doctor about my persistent infections?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Infection: Without knowing what specific infections you are referring to and whether attempts to manage or eliminate them have been appropriate my answer may be vague. You should ask if you may have an immune defect, are being consistently reexposed to some organism, have an anatomic abnormality that predisposes you to infection, or whether the infection is of a type that is curable.
