Unlikely: I assume you are having sinus or nasal surgery. Even though surgery is often very successful in improving chronic sinus symptoms and reducing infections the lining of the nose and sinuses doesn't change how it responds to things in the environment. Those who suffer from allergies will still do so although congestion is often less intense after surgery.
