Allergy testing: Allergy testing can include skin test where the allergen is gently pricked onto the skin with a plastic applicator (used to be called "scratch test"). Result is available in 20 minutes. Occasionally an intra-dermal test is needed where a tiny amount is injected under the skin (like a TB test) and measured at 20 min. A blood test for ige can also be done. Avoid hair analysis, igg, kinesiology....
