Abcess: Generally lymph nodes are not located on the face per se but located on the front and back of the neck. So 'something swollen' on the face may be an abcess that needs to be treated (and possibly drained). Mrsa is staph bug that can cause an abcess to 'come on quickly' so it is best to get seen! hope she it better soon !
