Probably safe: Of all nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (nsaids), Naproxen a.K.A. Xenobid is the lowest in cardiovascular and stroke risk. However, long-term use of any NSAID carries a risk of gastric bleeding; taking a proton pump inhibitor (ppi) long-term may reduce the gastric bleed risk. Good luck!
