Few weeks: You are referring to benign paroxysmal vertigo, correct? This often resolves spontaneously over a few weeks. It rare occasions, it may last for a few months. If you haven't already gotten it, you may ask your doctor about the epley manuever. I find it a very underrated maneuver that has worked fine with my patients so far! hope you feel better.

Emerg Dr. Dx BPV but provided no Tx. (IV and Gravol) Felt better upon discharge for ~1 hr but still u/a to stand. Epley's attempt has not helped. ?
I have bpv and most occurred when rising in morning. I have a fear that i will start spinning while driving or randomly etc. Can it occur randomly ?
