I've seen a rheumy about my burning/prickly muscle pain in upper back. mri and bloods clear. they think poss fibro. should i see a neurologist ?

It's your call.: My assumption is if all your tests are normal & u don't have weakness, numbness & tingling of your extremities , then likely it's not serious. Your pain likely is musculoskeletal in nature, possibly a pinched nerve in your cervical or thoracic spine, a bruising or strained muscle or ligament from strenuous physical activity. Fibromyalgia is a (clinical) DX of exclusion. Take care!
