Avoid baby wipes: The commercial baby wipes have chemicals in them that aggravate irritated skin. You can make some of your own using baby oil/paper towels and a zip lock bag. Use of a mild hydrocortizone cream (otc) can soothe the areas of redness but should be used only a few times/day. Peeing in a full tub or gently spreading as you go can reduce the burn.A coll compress also works wonders while you sit.

Possible infection: The pain could be from a labia friction burn, but it is also possible you could have a yeast infection or some other type of skin condition. If soaking in plain warm water several times a day and going without panties at night do not help, you should make an appointment to see your doctor.
