About

Bio

I am Board Certified in Child Abuse Pediatrics, a relatively new subspecialty in Pediatrics. I am known for my work with children who have been sexually abused and for developing educational programs for physicians who perform medical evaluations of children who may have been sexually abused. I am also an expert in Adolescent Medicine, which I have been practicing for 19 years in San Diego, California.

Specialties
Doctors may have more than one area of specialty interest. Board certification in a specialty area means the doctor has completed formal training and has practice experience in that specialty, and has passed the certification examination from the corresponding accredited medical specialty board.
